We want our carbon offsets to make a measurable and remarkable difference to sustainable energy solutions. So, we’ve chosen to invest in two specific projects India Wind Power and India Solar Power.
The India Wind Power project is a true investment in sustainable, renewable energy.
Supporting a wind farm in the state of Maharashtra, India, this project generates a renewable energy source (wind) and sells the power to the state grid.
The project is underpinned by the purchase and maintenance of 40 Wind Turbine Generators. The energy produced by these generators will displace the equivalent amount of power from the grid around 80 MW.
Across 10 years of the India Wind Power project being in operation, the expected Greenhouse Gas emission reduction is anticipated to be 1,369,360 tonnes of CO2.
The India Wind Power project is reliant on the purchase of carbon credits. Thus, we can be confident that our carbon offsets are a proven, permanent and precise example of responsible energy consumption.
